This painting is based on Shahnameh ( book of the kings) of Ferdowsi series.

Pourandokht was a queen of Persia from 630 to 632, She is the second of only three women to rule in Iranian history. She did try to bring stability, reconstruction of the infrastructure, and by lowering taxes and minting coins. She is the first queen who created coins with her image.
